She doesn’t denied the fact of being a feminist, also stated that she would much rather be developing her business career rather than cooking in the kitchen. She believes that everyone has their special field of expertise, nobody should be limited the traditional portrayal by the society. We dedicate this show to the men of Taiwan.

WuiT #050: Rebecca Redhead (part 1)

Download this interview!Rebecca is originally from London; currently the legal representative of a Japanese company that is distributing parts to the new Taiwan High Speed Rail, which is being constructed right now. She has been living in Taipei for 2 years; her status is single and unable to speak much Chinese. This is how she introduced herself in her e-mail to us after agreeing to do the interview. We were really anxious to meet her in person.
Rebecca is extremely ambitious about her career; she accepted this job due to the uprising of China. She wanted to better her understandings of eastern and western law through this experience. She shared many of her observations during the interview.
Scuba diving at Green Island is the event that Rebecca enjoys doing at the moment. She also recommended Jioufen as the starting point for understanding the traditional scenery of Taiwan.
Rebecca來自倫敦，受雇於日本公司，是負責台灣高鐵興建工程的日方法律代表，在台時間兩年半，不會說中文，目前單身。這是她答應受訪後，在email中的自我介紹，沒見面就令人充滿好奇。
Rebecca對於事業深具企圖心，她接受目前這份工作，便是基於“中國崛起”的考量，她想在東、西方的法律事務中學習更多的經驗。訪問中她也與我們分享了她的觀察。
去綠島浮潛是Rebecca目前熱衷的休閒活動，她也推薦九份，作為認識台灣傳統景觀的起點。
